Philip Wm Andrews had many hobbies and fields of excellence. He was a medical doctor with a career in the United States Air Force, artist in multi-media (particularly water colors), model railroad craftsman including scratch-building many pieces of HO-scale equipment and operating his own model railroad (Cibolo Valley) and, but not least, a flower expert ... particularly orchids. With orchids, he was a world-recognized authority and world-class judge. He developed an orchid especially for his wife, Marge [need name and picture]. Marge and Phil had a green house at their Universal City, Texas home and used it extensively to develop and expand the orchid hobby. Most of Phil's talents were passed on to his children, with Bill and Vicki building their own green house for their orchid hobby. Here are some photos of The Andrews' orchid hobby.
