The Andrews Family of San Antonio, Texas
MA1: - 1 L-R: Sue, Philip Ross (PR), Diane, Phil, Marjorie, Bill and Marge Marjorie Elizabeth ANDREWS Maribeth was born in San Antonio, Texas on May 17, 1962. She attended high school in Burkburnett, TX while her father was stationed at Sheppard A.F.B She went on to attend Elkins Institute in Dallas, TX where she received the training necessary to obtain a First Class Radio Operator' s License. Certificate in hand, Marjorie worked as a disk jockey in the Dallas area for awhile. She went on to do "traffic" (scheduling of commercials and public service announcement during programs) for Belo Broadcasting in Dallas. She attended El Centro Community College in Dallas, where in 1985 she earned a Associate Degree in Liberal Arts. After a move to Texarkana, TX, Marjorie met Allen Dwayne Smith. Dwayne is the " one on the right" of a set of identical twins. They married on October 28, 1991. A daughter, Marjorie Mozzeal, was born August 12, 1991, but died too soon, on January 13, 1992. Marjorie and Dwayne relocated to Camden, Tennessee where Dwayne' s large fanily lives. They bought and are in the process of restoring a rather large log cabin. This is no small feat, since the cabin has been remodeled and added-on-to numerous times. The oldest section is made of logs cut during the Civil War. A second daughter, Priscilla Renee, was born October 10, 1993, but tragically she also died, on November 4. Stephen Luke was born prematurely on April 24, 1996. He is now a healthy, happy handful. Marjorie and Dwayne are active in the Methodist church and thoroughly enjoy small town country life.
