City of Annenell

The City of Annenell is the largest city in the Stonefield Valley.  Annenell is located midway between Sallytoon and Binghamburg. Annenell has two suburb areas of Sassyburg, just to the north, and Spikerton, just to the south.  Annenell is named for Anne-Nell Erna Ruth Keays Andrews, Chairman of the Board of the SV.  Sassyburg and Spikerton are both named for man's best friends.

Annenell has a population of 15,359, excluding the transient train crews and Saturday night students of Lulu's House of Spiritual Enlightenment, Annenell Campus.  The City grew up around the Annenell Linen Mill located on the east banks of the Stonefield River. Annenell Linen Mill was established by James B. Annenell in 1867, soon after the misunderstanding between the States, and originally built to product fine linen products for both American and Europe.  The Mill was very successful and the product line expanded into a full range of textiles including America's first orthopedic underwear.  Annenell Linen Mill has been in continuous operation since it opened on Tuesday, 1867.

Annenell is home of the Stonefield Valley Railroad General Offices located just across the tracks from the depot.  SV also has car shops located here.  Other businesses and industries include: Ruth's Custom Fabrics, named for Ruth Keays, the Hugh A. Keys Building, named for Hugh Alexander Keays, D. Funct Manufacturing, Ethel's Best Wholesale Petroleum Products, the City of Annenell Power Plant, Aronson Steel Fabricators, and Gutten-Berg Publishers and Printers.  Annenell has a large freight station to support the area's businesses as well as Anne's Station Cafe and numerous other secondary businesses.  It's bust at train time at Annenell.
