DECATUR - Janet L. Broske, 69, of Decatur died Saturday December 12, 2009 in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Janet was born on June 28, 1940 in Decatur the daughter of Rodell and Vera (Grindol) Curry. She loved to play games on the computer and play Bridge with her lady friends. She married William Broske on August 30, 1958 in Decatur. She is survived by her husband, William, children, Lance Eric Broske (Kathleen) of West Bend, WI; Lisa Kay Broske of Union, NJ; Lon William Broske (Kerry) of Columbia, IL; sisters, Beverly Brandenburg (Jack) of Shelbyville; Barbara McKee (David) of Mt. Zion; Karen Heneberry (John) of Moweaqua; brother, James Curry; grandchildren: Alec, Abigail, Allyse, Lukas, and Camden. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one son, Thomas William Broske. Graveside service will be 11:00 am Thursday, December 17, 2009 in Macon County Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Associationor the American Lung Association.
