Some Notes on Jerry's Champion Arabians

Khemonfire was a horse whose mother I owned and I owned her mother's mother too ... Khemonfire's grandmother.  It's a combination of names of sires and dams.  Khemonfire's daddy was a prolific stallion that produced 2,500 foals ... most all by artificial insemination. His name was Khemosabi ... a famous Arabian Stallion now passed away.  Her mother was my mare Fireazon ... hence ... Khemonfire.  No Arabian horse can have the same name as another horse ... ever.  So you have to research names to get an original one.  Even the horses passed away ... their names can't be used ... everyone is original.

Next show is the first week in December. Khapri Sun is huge for an Arabian ... tall and weighs about 1350 lbs.  Most Arabs are much smaller and a thousand pounds or less. But he's the biggest wimp you ever saw.  He gets nervous and depends on the rider to keep him "safe" so I have to make sure he's comfortable, not scared or nervous and not hot or irritated.  When he is good, he is hard to beat but if he is upset he kind of falls apart.  He is a funny horse but the best horse I've ever had.  I've had so many offers to sell him but it's taken me 25 yrs to get a horse this good and I'm not letting him go. He's a one in a lifetime find.
